Delivers product to convenience stores on an established local route. Provides excellent customer service to both store owners/employees, and customers.
Effectively manages complaints or discrepancies; or is comfortable seeking assistance from senior levels. Must have a valid Class D license, clean record and agree to background and motor vehicle records check.
Candidates must demonstrate a high level of accuracy, and ability to work without direct supervision.
Job includes:
- Delivery of product, and documentation of variance information in handheld computer.
- Responsible for rotation of displays, coolers, and back stock.
- Operate hand trucks and/or electric pallet jacks to unload truck.
- Assist in displaying beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store to attract attention of prospective customers.
- Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
- Assist Pre-Sales person in constructing or assembling displays from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
- Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
- Cleans shelves, coolers and other display structures on a regular basis.
- Transfer and rotate product from customer stock room to designated floor or cooler displays in order to comply with “Sell By” dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
- Collect or pick up empty containers/unsold or out-of-code merchandise.
- Conduct and/or verify truck loading and unloading and security of loads.
- Obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
Starting Wage: $21.00 with an increase after training and review.
Must be able to lift properly, up to 50+ pounds multiple times per day. Work environment can be loud, employee is exposed to the outside weather conditions during deliveries.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Give direction to possible Driver Helper if assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School or GED. Clean driving record, will train on additional driving and hand-held inventory device.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
